Hello! My name is Eldridge. I'm a musician and filmmaker from Brooklyn. I'm shooting my film: Living with Blind Dogs in June. I'm looking for: -someone to voice(and possibly control) a puppet hat called 'The Talking Hat'. A hip beatnik, with a New York accent, that spends a lot of the film on my head, talking to me or the audience and saying things like "dig it, baby." -actors to play angels and demons for a dream sequence in Irving Square Park towards the end. -musicians to play in a band for a show. -an audience for the show -an acoustic guitarist with a dog that we'd film playing in Irving Square.(for a fictional film within the film called Harmonica Grover, where the dog speaks harmonica) -two people to lipsync rappers for a fictional cookie crumbs company called Crumbz -people to play bakers that are smashing chocolate chip cookies with hammers (to make crumbz) -people to do acrobatics on a playground and copy each other like a human delay system (or dominos) -anyone that wants to help with sound or holding a camera, or being an extra. There will be lots of opportunities for improvisation and expression. If you want to show off your talent/passion, here is the perfect place for it. Hollywood has chased off all their best Muses. Now those Muses are looking for new homes, and I feel one waiting in Irving Square for us in June. There's no pay, but you'll be part of a great piece of art! This film is in the spirit of Chaplin, Fellini, Bresson, Varda, Buñuel, Ozu, Cassavetes, Lynch Here is my last film; Bird Watching Man. https://youtu.be/FiIduWo23Kw?si=YRJIiE7qbI9CXI2c
