Hello! My gothic rock band is looking for 3 actors / dancers for a music video that will be filmed in March. The shoot will be a few hours long and each actor will be paid $150. Descriptions: Actor 1- White male (18-35) A soldier deeply scarred by the horrors of war. A husk without empathy, but yearns for tenderness from others. Does not understand how to express love except through violence. Costume: Black Pants, White shirt, Black Shoes, Black Socks, and Gas-Mask (the mask will be provided on set). Actor 2- Female (Any ethnicity 18-35) A loving wife to the soldier. Cares for him deeply despite his aloofness. However, she is horrified in his turn to violence, and deeply frightened of the monster he has become. Costume: White Midi Cocktail/Slip Dress. Actor 3- POC Male (18-35) A secret lover of the soldier. While affectionate, he does not want to become the new target of the soldier's violence, keeping as much emotional and physical space between them. Costume: Black Pants, White Shirt For your audition, please record a tape of your own dance piece to the music attached to the submission form below (ONLY RECORD THE CUT from 0:39- 1:25). You may also submit a movement/dance reel, but that is not required. Please submit tape as a private youtube video that we can view! Your piece does not need contain the entire length between 0:39- 1:25 but it must be at least 20 seconds. Any dance style is permitted we just want to see confidence and your ability to convey emotion. You can wear whatever you'd like for the audition.
