Shoot Dates: November 30 – December 18, 2026 (needed for only a few days) Location: Los Angeles ABOUT THE FILM Wake Up, Stupid Humans! is an absurdist sci-fi musical comedy set in 1969. When America's favorite family band is exposed as a lip-syncing fraud, a bizarre alien recruits them to save humanity through psychedelic music. Think Austin Powers meets The Brady Bunch Movie. Produced by Impossible Dream Entertainment (Get Out, BlacKkKlansman, Day Shift). ROLE: ADAM FAMILY Asian male, 18–35. All Asian backgrounds welcome. Adam is the "smart" one of the family band. He barely speaks English, rarely shows emotion, and mechanically plays the organ. His real passion is computer science. He leaves the family to study at MIT, is rejected by an alien abduction beam, and afterward, his family doesn't even remember he existed. We are specifically seeking someone whose first language is NOT English. Natural accents and limited English fluency are welcome! No professional acting experience required. No singing or musical experience required! Performances are lip-synced, with simple, easy to-learn choreography.
