• About the film: The script is a 1990's period, dark comedy about an up and coming rock band, struggling with the reality of growing up in a small town with big dreams. The script was written as a feature, but we will be shooting a short version this year to help us secure funding to make the full length feature next year. Our hopes are to find the right actors (for these really great roles), for the short and bring you along for the feature film that follows. • About us: We are professional filmmakers who have all worked in the film industry for many years. We have connections to take this project to the next level, we just need to produce this short and get it in the right hands. The doors are open but we don't want to enter empty handed. So this project has VERY high potential for success for everyone involved. • The roles we are casting: Ages are for reference of the character, you don't have to be in this range, just look it. Bassist - Male, Any ethnicity, Age 24 - 28 Drummer - Male, Any ethnicity, Age 18 - 20 Keyboardist -Male, Hispanic, Age 20 - 25 ***You don't have to be a musician but that's a plus -- We need good actors, not good musicians*** THE COPS - TWO SMALL TOWN MALE COPS: Officer 1 - Male, White, 40's. Officer 2 - Male, Any ethnicity, 30's THE FRIENDS - MALE AND FEMALE The Band Manager - Male, Hispanic, Heavy build, Ages 40 - 50 The Girlfriend - Female, Any ethnicity, Rocker type, Ages 20 - 25 The Best Friend - Female, Any ethnicity, Punk Rocker type, Ages 20 - 25 --- BALD Head or Willing to shave your head for the role.
