I'm an independent director/producer looking for a reliable Administrative Production Assistant to help me keep projects on track. This is not a big corporate job, think more personal, collaborative, and creative support. What I'm looking for: Someone who can work remotely most of the time but also meet up in person on occasion (Los Angeles area). Comfortable with AI tools, FaceTime, PowerPoint (designer level), Excel & Word (user level). A natural organizer who's cool, drama-free, analytical, and easy to work with. Someone who enjoys writing, reading, and watching films/series, you don't need to be a writer or filmmaker yourself, just have an appreciation for storytelling. A good communicator who's not afraid of sending professional emails or giving honest, thoughtful feedback. Tasks will include (but not limited to): Reading scripts and giving feedback/suggestions. Writing follow-up emails to producers, agents, and clients. Reaching out to sponsors (this is outreach, not sales). Helping organize the logistics of shoots, posts, and interviews. Posting casting calls, handling call sheets and managing follow-up emails. Social media posting and responding to comments. The setup: Starts as a part-time, independent contractor position, you'll invoice by the hour. This is best suited for someone who already has a steady job and wants to supplement their income with flexible, interesting work. Pay: $17/hour remote and $20/hour on-site. Hours will scale depending on how things go and how you handle tasks. If this sounds like something that fits your life and energy, shoot me an email with a quick intro about yourself, your background, and why you'd be a good fit. Please include your resume (doesn't need to be fancy) and a short note on your favorite film or series—it tells me a lot about taste and personality. Looking forward to hearing from you.
