CASTING CALL — LEAD FEMALE Independent Horror / Slasher / Mystery Film I'm casting for an independent horror film being filmed around Escape Halloween in San Bernardino on Friday, October 30, 2026. The film combines Halloween rave culture, slasher horror, a serial-killer legend, mystery, and giallo-inspired filmmaking. LEAD ROLE — GINA Gina is Johnny's girlfriend and one of the main characters in the film. The role requires someone who can create natural chemistry with Johnny and be believable as the story moves from a fun night at the rave into something much darker. I'm looking for a natural, grounded performance rather than anything overly theatrical. No specific physical type required. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY You do not need acting experience, an agent, résumé, or professional headshots. The audition will be a simple self-tape filmed on your phone. I'll send a few short scenes/lines for Gina to record from home. ESCAPE HALLOWEEN — OCTOBER 30 The actress cast as Gina will receive: $300 for the rave/event filming Rave ticket included IMDb credit We will film scripted scenes as well as a lot of cinematic B-roll, including: Johnny & Gina throughout the event Johnny filming Gina / Gina filming Johnny Gina interacting with people at the event Crowds, dancing and Halloween costumes Rave lights, stages and decorations Outdoor/nighttime footage Suspense and horror sequences Gina should be comfortable approaching people at the event and asking for their consent to be filmed. The goal is to use the real rave environment to make the movie feel immersive and cinematic. ADDITIONAL FILMING Additional scenes will be filmed before and/or after the rave around everyone's availability. Additional filming: $100/hour. PRODUCTION This is a non-union independent production. Some scenes will be traditionally filmed, while some rave footage will be captured in a more guerrilla-style independent approach using the real environment and crowd. INTERESTED?
