An established event production company based in Tarzana is looking for reliable, hands-on freelance AV technicians. We're building a dependable crew for ongoing opportunities and prefer technicians based nearby, including Encino, Reseda, Woodland Hills and surrounding Valley areas. APPLY FOR ONE OR MORE ROLES: 1. SOUND TECHNICIAN Microphones, speakers, mixers, XLR runs, soundcheck and live sound operation. 2. LIVESTREAM TECHNICIAN Camera setup, clean mixer audio, streaming software, internet testing and monitoring the stream. 3. VIDEO / PROJECTION TECHNICIAN Projectors, screens, TVs, HDMI distribution and photo/video montage playback. 4. LIGHTING / LED / VJ OPERATOR Lighting, LED walls, Resolume or grandMA. Specify which systems you know and whether you program, operate or both. 5. LEAD AV TECHNICIAN Plan and coordinate setup, lead helpers, and independently troubleshoot sound, video and streaming. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: - Reliable transportation to events throughout the Valley and LA County - Punctuality, clear communication and follow-through - Careful handling of equipment and professional conduct with clients - Ability to independently handle your agreed responsibilities Setup, testing, operation and breakdown responsibilities will be agreed for each gig. Specialists are welcome; you don't need to do everything.
