Podcast Editor We're looking for a skilled editor with genuine creative flair to join our content team. The core of this role is live editing — cutting and shaping episodes in real time as they're recorded — followed by polish, color, and delivery. You'll also own full offline edits when needed, source and cut B-roll that elevates the story, and bring real creative instincts to every episode you touch. If you can make a talking-heads interview feel cinematic, you'll fit right in. What You'll Do Live-edit podcast recordings in real time, making clean cuts and confident creative decisions on the fly Polish episodes post-recording: audio leveling, noise reduction, pacing, music, and sound design Source, cut, and integrate B-roll footage to add depth, rhythm, and visual storytelling to episodes Build full episodes from scratch when needed — from raw footage to final delivery Sync audio and video, manage multi-track sessions, and deliver broadcast-ready files Collaborate with hosts and producers to maintain consistent quality and tone across episodes Create or adapt visual assets for episode promotion (thumbnails, graphics, social cuts) Maintain organized project files and hit deadlines reliably What We're Looking For Demonstrated experience with live or near-live editing workflows — this is essential A strong creative eye — you don't just cut, you shape a story Proven ability to edit full projects end-to-end, from raw footage to polished final cut Experience sourcing and cutting B-roll to enhance narrative and pacing Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere and/or Final Cut Pro; Adobe Audition or equivalent for audio Solid post-production fundamentals: leveling, EQ, noise reduction, color grading Graphic design basics in Photoshop or equivalent (thumbnails, social assets) Calm, focused, and decisive under the time pressure of a live session Strong communication and the ability to take direction quickly from hosts and producers
