We're a high-volume recording studio with multiple locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. We're hiring full-time and part-time engineers for day and night shifts. Engineers work independently in single-room locations. There is no in-room support staff — you are responsible for running sessions from start to finish. Our studio operation is highly structured and organized. Systems are in place, expectations are clear, and engineers are supported by consistent management. What We Do: We provide in-session vocal recording, editing, mixing, and light mastering. All services are performed in real time with the client present. Sessions move quickly. Engineers are expected to: • Track, edit, mix, and deliver efficiently • Adapt when sessions change direction • Maintain control of the room • Enforce studio policies professionally when needed • Keep sessions productive and on schedule Who This Role Fits: This position is well suited for engineers who: • Have a solid technical foundation in Pro Tools, preferably with hands-on studio experience running sessions with clients present • Work well independently • Are motivated and self-directed • Communicate clearly and professionally Autonomy is a major part of this role. You will be trusted to manage your room — that only works if you are reliable, structured, and accountable. Requirements: • Studio experience using Pro Tools • Understanding of signal flow and mixing fundamentals • Ability to edit and arrange efficiently in Pro Tools • Familiarity with shortcuts and workflow optimization • Strong communication skills • Consistent punctuality and professionalism Shifts: Day: 10AM–8PM Night: 7PM–5AM Full availability for the selected shift is required. Compensation: Starting at $17.50/hr. Engineers are only required to be on-site during booked sessions.
