I'm looking to help or join an indie feature or festival short, motivated by the love of indie film and a need to do some networking. I have a general filmmaker/creative skill set (as partially described below), about 80 days paid on set, and about 80 days as volunteer on quality projects. Helping: free, short term help like fresh eyes, outside opinions, light notes; or to give a day on set for a project that has a heavy day but is already over on funding. Joining: I'm seeking work as AP and/or creative assistant and/or floater PA. Indie rate to no pay, depending on what's needed. I have a case study for you on the creative assistant side. Given my experience I can handle tasks related to script, research, casting, crewing, rehearsal assistant, location scouting, some continuity, department needs, liaising with specialty departments, some creative vs. budget problem solving, correspondence and decks/EPKs, basic post skills.
