CASTING CALL — LEAD FEMALE Independent Horror Film — Rave / Slasher / Mystery I'm casting for an independent horror film that takes place around a large Halloween rave event ( ESCAPE HALLOWEEN IN SAN BERNANDINO 10-30-26) . LEAD ROLE — GINA Gina is Johnny's girlfriend and one of the central characters of the story. She is not simply "the girlfriend." She has her own personality, reactions, opinions and emotional connection to Johnny. The role requires someone who can play natural chemistry with Johnny, while also being believable during suspenseful and frightening situations. There are scenes where Gina is simply having fun and enjoying the night, scenes involving Johnny and their relationship, and scenes where the atmosphere becomes increasingly uncomfortable and frightening. The performance should feel natural and grounded rather than overly theatrical. There is no specific physical type required for Gina. NO ACTING EXPERIENCE NECESSARY You do not need professional acting experience. You do not need an acting résumé, agent or professional headshots. If you're comfortable performing on camera and think you could bring something interesting to the character, I'd like to hear from you. The audition will be a simple self-tape filmed on your phone. I'll provide a few lines/scenes for Gina so you can record your audition from home. RAVE FILMING (ESCAPE HALLOWEEN EVENT IN SAN BERNANDINO) — OCTOBER 30 The main event filming will take place at the Halloween rave on: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30 The actress cast as Gina will be paid: $300 for the rave/event portion of the role The rave ticket is included. You will also receive an IMDb credit for the film. A significant amount of footage will be captured during the event, including both scripted material and cinematic B-roll. This may include: Johnny and Gina walking through the event Johnny filming Gina and Gina filming Johnny Gina interacting with Johnny Gina interacting with people at the event (so looking for someone not shy to approach others at the event and ask if we have their consent to film) Crowd footage Halloween costumes People dancing Outdoor/nighttime footage Rave lights and decorations Walking through different areas of the event Atmospheric horror footage Characters moving through crowds Suspenseful moments Additional B-roll that may be incorporated into the film The goal is to use the real environment of the rave to make the movie feel immersive and cinematic. ADDITIONAL FILMING There will also be scenes filmed before and/or after the October 30 event, depending on everyone's availability. Additional filming will take place on different days and will be scheduled around the actors' availability. Additional filming is paid at $100 per hour. Some filming sessions may be short, while others may require more time depending on the scene. This is an independent, non-union horror film. The movie combines: Halloween rave culture + slasher horror + serial-killer legend + mystery + giallo-inspired filmmaking. Some scenes will be filmed traditionally, while other material will be captured in a more guerrilla-style independent filmmaking approach to take advantage of the real rave environment. HOW TO RESPOND If you're interested in auditioning for Gina or another role, please email or text: Your name City you are located in Instagram or YouTube link — if you have one and are comfortable sharing it You can also include a brief description of yourself and why you're interested in the project. Please put: "GINA AUDITION — OCTOBER 30" in the subject/message. I'll send the self-tape audition material to interested actresses. No acting experience necessary. $300 for the October 30 rave filming for Gina. $100/hour for additional filming days. Rave ticket included. IMDb credit.
