Hey Folks, I'm looking for a videographer/d.p. (or two) to help shoot a lo-fi, street-style promo video for a book trilogy I'm releasing. Think "Billy on the Street"/Subway Talk energy — walking around town and on the subway, asking random people questions, building some fun/chaotic moments for Instagram ads. Ugh. I kind of hate how that's worded, but it fits. We will be moving from location to location man-on-the-street style, but food will be provided every 6hrs. (If I even make it that long. But even if I don't, I'll of course also pay for your lunch up to a reasonable amount). What I'm looking for: • Half-day or full-day shoot in NYC (subway/train/stations + street) • One or two shooters with a camera each (iPhones or similar could be fine depending on your rig/glass -- but I also have a Canon DSLR as well) • I was thinking of providing my own USB lav mic — open to suggestions on syncing audio • You shoot; I keep the footage (I'll edit it myself) Please send reels/portfolios to this reply address. Paid gig, day rate. Thanks!
