Hello, My name is David and I am a singer/songwriter. I am currently recording my songs in Pro Tools and seem to be stuck at the spot of making my harmonies. As I'm sure you know, almost every pop song has harmonies to make the chorus feel large and wide. I seem to be unable to make mine sound radio quality. I am not a complete beginning, but I would say I am maybe a 5/10 level on my mixing skills. If possible, I would love to get together with you at your studio for an hourly rate where you can teach me how to make professional quality choruses using harmonies and doubles. You can show me the plugins and techniques you use and I can take notes. Pro Tools is preferred if possible. We do not necessarily have to track vocals at your studio. You can tell me what to record (how many vocal tracks, etc) before I come in. I would just like to know your go-to formula (plugins, panning, etc) that makes songs sound so good. At this time, I can offer $100/hour for your help on this. I am located in Hoboken but I am willing to travel to the 5 boroughs where your studio is located. If you are interested, please reply to this post with some links to songs with harmonies that you have made. If this goes well, I continue to meet with you to discuss new music questions I have. Thank you so much and I look forward to working with you!
