Paid recurring opportunity for a talented emerging photographer in Vancouver. We're looking for a Photographer & Visual Content Creator with a strong visual eye to create elevated work across beauty, lifestyle and editorial projects. The opportunity is primarily with OKOKO Cosmétiques, an award-winning Vancouver skincare brand, with potential assignments for selected beauty/lifestyle brands we work with and occasional IKONIK Magazine editorials, interviews and experiences. This is especially suited to an emerging photographer building their commercial or editorial portfolio who wants access to a variety of professional creative projects. We're looking for someone comfortable photographing both products and people. Projects may include: • Luxury skincare product and texture photography • Beauty and application photography with models • Lifestyle and campaign imagery • Founder portraits and editorial headshots • IKONIK Magazine portraits, interviews and events • Behind-the-scenes and brand storytelling content • Occasional short-form video, if this is part of your skill set You may be a great fit if you: • Have a portfolio that shows a strong visual eye • Understand lighting, composition and editing • Have an interest in beauty, fashion, portrait, lifestyle, product or editorial photography • Are comfortable with Lightroom, Photoshop or similar software • Can lightly direct people while still capturing natural moments • Bring creative ideas and initiative to shoots • Are reliable and based in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland You do not need years of agency experience or an established photography business. Talented emerging photographers are strongly encouraged to apply. We're hoping to build an ongoing creative relationship with the right person, with opportunities to work across skincare, beauty campaigns, founders, brands and editorial projects. We also value creative input, we want someone who brings their own eye and ideas to the work, not simply someone who follows a shot list. Compensation: $23–$35/hour depending on experience and assignment. Some shoots may also be structured at an agreed project rate.
