WANTED: EVERYDAY AMERICAN VOICES ($50/HR) We're looking for real, everyday American voices. You do NOT need to be a professional voice actor. In fact, we'd prefer you weren't! We want voices with character, not the polished radio or announcer sound. THE PROJECT * Your voice will be used as a call center representative for an AI tool * We'll be hiring 1 to 5 people * You'll record 2 to 3 hours of casual conversation in a recording studio, working with one of our audio engineers * Plan for about 4 to 6 hours total WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR * All voices are welcome * A wide range of ages (older voices are especially welcome!) * Regional accents and dialects such as Midwestern, Southern, and more * We'd especially love to hear from those with African American Vernacular * No experience needed PAY $50 per hour HOW TO AUDITION Record yourself answering one or more of the questions below. No script and no lines to read. Just talk like you would on the phone with a friend. (2 to 4 minutes max) * Tell us about yourself. Where are you from? Feel free to mention your favorite food, a sport you love, something you enjoy doing, or anything else. * Tell us about a time you had a problem at home, like plumbing, electrical, or AC trouble. * Tell us about one of the most fun days you've ever had.
