Small photo studio in Long Island City (near Queens Plaza) is hiring a part-time Studio Assistant for shoot turnovers. The work: - Reset the studio between rental clients - Arrange and stage equipment (tripods, lighting, grip gear, carts) - Make sure everything is spotless and presented neatly for the next renter - Stock supplies (paper towels, water, etc.) - Occasional light moving (sofa, plinth, plants) This is NOT a cleaning role — that's handled separately. This is gear arrangement, organization, and visual presentation. Pay: $25/hour, or $50 flat per "flip" (turnover between renters), typically 1-2 hours of work. Hours: On-call, flexible. Most flips happen between 9am-6pm. Volume depends on bookings — could be 2 flips one week, 6 the next. Looking for someone: - Based in LIC or Astoria, ideally within 20 minutes of the studio - Available with short notice (sometimes same-day) - Comfortable handling photo/video equipment carefully - Strong eye for organization and arrangement - Reliable and responds to texts quickly No formal experience required, but if you've worked as a PA, set assistant, or in a similar role, mention it. Reply with: - Your neighborhood - Any relevant experience (studio, retail, hospitality, anything where you arranged things and worked with the public) - Your availability (days/times you can typically respond and come in) - Phone number (we'll text) Paid weekly via Zelle/Venmo, or 1099 if you prefer. Serious applicants only — please don't apply if you're not in NYC.
