Ramblin' Dan's Freewheelin' Band is seeking professional guitarists who sing lead vocals to perform high-energy music classes for young children and their families throughout The NYC Surrounding Suburbs. This is not a traditional teaching job. It is a performance-based role. Think front person energy, strong rhythm guitar, and real crowd engagement. You'll be entertaining both young children (babies, toddlers and preschoolers) and their adults who accompany them to class. It's incredibly fun and rewarding and the kids are amazing to play for. They absolutely love it! About the Role Lead 45-minute high-energy music classes and birthday parties Perform for children ages 0–4 with caregivers present Blend classic kids songs with family-friendly rock/pop Daytime hours only Classes during the week and Birthdays on the weekends. Consistent weekly schedule available for classes. You can accept or decline Birthday bookings based on your availability, but we do have a lot of work available for birthdays right now. We are a team of full-time musicians, Broadway performers, and working artists. This role is designed to support your creative life outside the job. Compensation Starting at $60+/hour $1,000+/week possible within a few months of training All daytime work – evenings always free for other gigs! What We're Looking For Required: Strong guitar skills (tight rhythm, confident strumming, very good at bar chords and good understanding of the guitar neck) Clear, strong lead vocals Significant live performance experience (non-negotiable) Charismatic, engaging stage presence Reliable, punctual, professional Comfortable working with young children. You do not need prior experience working with kids, but you do have to enjoy being around them. Willing to complete background check Bonus Skills: Piano or drum proficiency Teaching or early childhood experience How to Apply Please read carefully.
