Are you a psychology student, graduate, or professional with a keen interest in the intersection of mental health and cinema? We are seeking articulate and perceptive participants for a private case study of the unreleased independent film, Dissociated Me. Labeled as an "anti-biopic," this project challenges traditional narrative structures to explore the fractured nature of trauma, grief, identity, and the dissociative experience. We aren't just looking for viewers; we are looking for focused analysts. As the writer/director is both the subject of the film and its true story, participants will be asked to dissect and analyze the trauma reflected in the work. What's Involved? Private Screening: Selected participants will receive a private screening link to watch the finished film. Filmed Discussion: Following the screening, you will participate in a filmed roundtable discussion or a 1-on-1 interview. Goal: Share your professional and academic insights to help bridge the gap between cinematic expression and clinical understanding. Requirements: Current undergraduate, graduate, alumni, or professional status in the field of psychology. Comfortable being recorded for promotional and study purposes. Interest in how mental health is portrayed in cinema and a familiarity with the concept of dissociation.
