Director/Editor (Local 700) is seeking a Resolve colorist to work for a supervised day on a final pass of a low budget feature that has already been edited/graded. The film is 80 min, R-rated, originally shot in Panavision/Kodak negative film and telecined to HD. The goal is to make sure the film has streamer-standard consistent gamma, IRE, and looks nice and robust. Also, while film has been graded, there are a handful of tricky spots that will require some extra attention. The incoming file is a Rec 709 1080p PR 4X4 .mov, and final output needs to be PR422 HQ for delivery. Also will have additional passes at different flatter grades available if needed. This is a one-day "until it's finished" job, flat rate pay. For someone who works quickly, a day is enough to wrap it up. Please be local LA County, have a Resolve setup, excellent reference monitoring, and prior experience color-correcting & delivering features (not just short-form) to major streaming outlets. Looking to do this ASAP, so reach out if you have what the job requires. Thank you.
