We're a multi-brand operation with consulting, services, a podcast launching, and a lot of content sitting around going nowhere. We need someone who can take what we have and turn it into video that people actually stop and watch. Short form and long form. We want both. Here's the honest truth. Most editors we've seen produce content that's technically fine and emotionally dead. We're looking for the opposite. Someone who's funny when it should be funny. Sharp when it should be sharp. Knows how to build a hook that earns the next 30 seconds, then the next 30, all the way to the end. The kind of editor who watches a clip and immediately sees the moment that's going to make someone laugh, send it to a friend, or stay for 12 more minutes. Short form for Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Long form for YouTube and podcast distribution. We want the same person doing both because we want consistency of voice. The short clips should feel like trailers for the long stuff. The long stuff should feel worth watching because someone with taste built it. The best content people we've worked with weren't taking orders. They were running their own playbook. If you have opinions about what works, we want to hear them. If you think something we're doing is bad, tell us. We'd rather hire someone with strong instincts than someone who needs a creative brief for every piece. What we want you to bring: Real editing skill in Premiere, DaVinci, CapCut, or whatever you actually use. Good comedic timing or at minimum the ability to spot a funny moment and frame it. Strong pacing instincts. Can write hooks that work in 3 seconds and stories that work over 20 minutes. Comfortable with raw phone footage, Zoom recordings, podcast audio, whatever we send. Captions, B-roll, sound design, motion graphics when needed. Can ship consistently without us chasing you. What you'll get: Ongoing work across multiple brands. Fully remote. Fast pay. Direct line to the people making decisions, no agency layer in the middle. A lot of creative latitude. Real material to work with, not corporate filler. Pay is negotiated.
