National Park Planner (npplan.com) is the largest National Park-oriented website ever created by a single, private citizen. The company is now looking for a multi-talented individual with a great on-screen presence and captivating personality to be the face of National Park Planner's social media. This multi-talented person must also be able to create the social media content through video and photos editing, script writing, and voice narration. This person will also be in charge of copyright enforcement and website updates. This is not a job for people who are strictly production-oriented (i.e. cinematographers, video editors). This requires the ability to be the on-screen talent as host of the videos about the National Parks as well as being able to edit the materials into a quality, finished product. You would shoot some photos and video yourself, but a cinematographer is also available to film footage of you as you visit the parks. Pay is $40,000/year and all expenses paid when traveling. The job requires the following commitments: 1. Must be able to work at the office in Roswell, Georgia, and attend an interview in the Atlanta area. 2. Must be able to travel to National Parks for up to two months at a time, twice a year. 3. Accommodations when traveling is tent camping in established campgrounds. 4. If you have pets, you must be able to arrange long-term care when travel. Pets are not allowed on the trips. Job skills and requirements are as follows: 1. Working to expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, and Premiere Pro 2. Working to expert knowledge of Word Press 3. Physically fit, as the job requires hiking, biking, and kayaking 4. Ability to take quality photographs and video (equipment is provided, though you can also use your own if you have it) 5. Expert knowledge of social media platforms, and must have an active social media presence The job is broken down as per a typical year: 3 Months: Traveling to National Parks • Photography and cinematography skills • Hiking, biking, kayaking, camping • On-screen talent 6 Months: Content Creation • Video editing, script writing, voice narration. • If time allow, updating information on the National Park Planner website 3 Months: Copyright Enforcement • Must be highly inquisitive • Advance internet research skills in finding companies and individuals who don't want to be found • Create demand letters using Adobe InDesign and Acrobat.
