Independent short film seeking a Sound Mixer / Sound Designer for a 15-minute neo-noir action drama currently in post-production. Los Angeles-based production. Picture edit is underway in DaVinci Resolve. Project Tone: Moody, restrained, neo-noir atmosphere, minimal dialogue, strong emphasis on sound, pacing, and tension Scope of Work: Dialogue cleanup & balancing Sound design (ambience, impacts, environmental texture) Atmosphere building for key scenes (bar, alley, street, etc.) Basic mix & leveling Music integration (we will provide tracks) chase sequences bar scenes transitions Optional: light scoring support (if capable) Compensation: $500–$800 stipend (depending on experience and scope) Credit (IMDb + festival submissions) Meals / basic expenses covered if applicable Timeline: Festival-oriented project. Looking to have sound completed by mid-April. Timeline will be coordinated based on availability and workflow.
