We are working on a unique project in the area, we need very short stories to be captured of students. These 60 second stories will then be placed on social media. With that being said, this project does not need to be over complicated. We'd like a slightly elevated version of that example but let's still keep this simple. You will need to be a self-contained entity in being able to shoot, light (maybe), record (lavalier and record narrations) and edit on your own. Both 16:9 and 9:16 versions of each recording will likely be needed. A typical day will be: -Receiving the info on each student and what lines they'll need to say -Heading to the school and arriving in a timely, professional manner. We have an immaculate reputation within the school system and your presence will need to uphold that. -Shooting 4-6 students (15 minutes per student) -Recording their lines (some will be on-camera, some will end up being narration) -Editing the videos down to under 60 seconds -Submitting within the given deadline -Please use the creative license to do some time-lapsing, some slow motion, some basic-level cinematography, maybe even graphics, etc... -We'll also need a handful of drone and exterior shots of the school. These exterior shots will be captured once and then used repetitively in each of the following episodes. You'll have approximately 4 days like this, over the next 6 weeks. You'll be capturing approximately 25 students within these 4 days. If this is you, please provide samples of whatever you have that is relevant and comparable to this job. Please do not send a link of 25 videos, through which we'll have to search and find whatever is similar to this project. Again, please send samples of work that you've done that is exactly or even somewhat close to something like this. Also, if you take on this job and you do not live on Staten Island, there will be no additional allowance for travel costs. We look forward to whomever believes that they are a great fit for this job as you will likely be chosen for a second Staten Island job that we'll discuss once we get to the zoom interview portion.
