Short vertical art film with a concept on mental health and depression, estimated to be 1 minute in length(if it goes over, it shouldn't be more than 3 min), it was filmed on green screen with live actors. Inspired by depression and dark moments of the mind. The previous vfx artist/editor is no longer available to continue due to scheduling, so I'm looking for someone to step in and complete the project. You'll be picking up from an existing edit (20% composed shots in Blender,using Keentools for face tracking); with assets and files provided, and carrying the project through to final delivery such as color grading, adding the music(will have it for you),film title, screen credit roll, cover for video, as needed to complete. I was given a rough estimate that there would be 15 shots (last update was at shot 8, but a couple things in the previous shots that needs to be fix mostly regarding the framing) Examples of effects needed: wires being pulled out of the actor's head, severed head from body, face broken into parts, flower blooming in vase, smoke and spark coming out of wires, etc. This was filmed on green screen and using some actors in green screen suits, as well as the prop table being a green screen with props on top of it so things like the table would need the color substitution and such. *Experience in 3D modeling/animating/rendering, RotoScoping and Face Tracking. *Preferred Software: Blender, After Effects, Premiere Starting Asap, deadline end of June, earlier the better. (all vfx parts done within a month with shots compiled, leaving the remaining weeks flexible for review and discussion to ensure better creativity for final editing/touches). Hoping to enter some film festivals this summer, thus why I am hoping to see if there can be someone who can be consistent on it and provide provide progress updates often and be in close communication together, so I would like to see file uploads or discussion on it at least every week until completion if not more often. Would prioritize a candidate that has more time to work on this with a more flexible schedule, that can work fast and not leave things til the last minute. Please let me know your availability / how often you can work on this. This is remote work, you can be from anywhere, but preferably in the same time zone; I'm in LA so it would be ideal to find someone local so that we can network better in future projects, but not required!
