I am 26 miles inland from San Francisco and this post is for production people in LA. Full disclosure: I am selling this via my eBay listing: https://ebay.us/m/iAPdNX There is no camera head included with this tripod. The top has the standard imperial 3/8-16 threaded stud for attaching flat base heads and ball levelers. Even tripod heads and levelers from metric countries have 3/8-16 tapped holes. This is a heavy duty tripod that weighs about 19.6 pounds. The weight is an advantage for stability. The unique design includes struts at the top of the legs that can be locked so a floor/ground spreader is not required to keep the legs from splaying. The measurements and weights may be approximate so they may or may not be accurate. The fiber carrying case weighs about 6 pounds and is in cosmetically poor condition with breaks that are covered with gaffing tape. It is not recommended for shipping, but it has been checked baggage for airline travel (about 25.6 lbs total). The case should not be exposed to rain. The tripod minimum height is ~32 inches. One of the three liquid level indicators is broken/dry. I suspect it is relatively easily replaced with the right size bubble level. Two slot-head screws attach the hold-down plate. Most of the locking knobs need to be removed and lubricated. The blade screwdriver and the hex head socket wrench in the photo are needed to remove the crank handle before putting it in the included fiber carrying case. The wrench is also used to adjust the column friction. The included wrench and screwdriver are not the ones in the photo. The feet can be unscrewed/changed. I am including the rubber discs that are appropriate for indoor use. I may also have two sizes of spikes (thin and fat) for outdoor use. Contact me if you want to buy those. The Majestic studio tripods were made by the Modern Builders Company in Chicago, Illinois for commercial still photography studios that used the large format film cameras. The tripods came with a relatively small diameter crank-up column plus a push-up telescoping section that extended to a maximum height of about 100 inches. The heavy, triangular leg and triangular leg extension design makes it extremely rigid (including no panning "backlash") but the extended column is not good for heavy video cameras with heavy, true fluid heads. It works fine for big, heavy heads when the column is not raised. This tripod was part of the lifetime collection that I have for sale. Please see my other items. A friend used it for a few years to record local bands in bars and restaurants that had rooms with small audiences. She needed to get as high as possible to clear heads that were in front of her camera location. She appreciated the professional tripod weight that was resistant to people bumping the static camera. For local pickup I am a few blocks off of 680 on the border of Pleasant Hill and Concord, California.
